I communicate in a host of ways, from keynote talks to moderating events, leading workshops and consulting on projects. I am a public engagement specialist with expertise in engaging communities in science and education.

Neuroscientist

My research is primarily on memory and how it can be lost in dementia.

Musician

I play the flute in two bands in New York City and New Jersey, and I play flute and sing with a roving band of neuroscientists known as Pavlov's Dogz.

Open Water Swimmer

I am an open water swimmer, regularly swimming marathons or longer. I also organize and support marathon and ultra-marathon swims around New York City.
